Our monthly Enrichment Outings expose students to the abundant cultural resources of Chicago.

Enrichment Outings may include seeing plays, looking at paintings, or skating. They are intended to expand the worldviews of our students, to help them see what is possible in the realms of art, science, theatre, and civic engagement.

Students attend Enrichment Outings with their Big Siblings, providing an ideal context for them to share ideas and get to know each other better. In these relationships, students go from knowing few people in their community with a college degree to being surrounded by a network of people who not only have college degrees, but are demonstrating academic success.
