Our monthly Enrichment Outings expose students to the abundant cultural resources Chicago has to offer.

Enrichment Outings are intended to expand the experiences of our students and to help them see what is possible in the realms of art, science, theatre, and civic engagement. Some examples of past Enrichment Outings include ice skating, improv classes, Chicago architecture tours, and visits to local museums.

Students attend Enrichment Outings with their Big Sibling Mentors, one Saturday per month, providing an ideal context for them to share ideas and get to know each other better.

Please contact Iavora Vlaytcheva at iavora@horizons-for-youth.org if your company is interested in financially supporting our monthly enrichment outings. Your company will connect with over 250 students, build positive brand awareness, and showcase support of an important cause: Chicago’s youth.

If you are interested in becoming a Big Sibling Mentor, please click on the Complete Mentor Application button below. Our Volunteer Coordinator, Emma, can answer your questions at volunteer@horizons-for-youth.org.
