Quality mentoring can have a drastic impact on a child’s life. By providing consistency and serving as a positive role model in students’ lives, research has shown that students paired with a mentor are 55% more likely to enroll in college.*
Each of our students is paired with an individual Big Sibling mentor for the duration of his or her participation in our program. To learn more about how you can become a mentor, apply below, or email us at volunteer@horizons-for-youth.org.
Our tutoring program goes well beyond the classroom. No child is turned away from our program based on academic ability, and several of our students join Horizons for Youth below grade level, and with significant learning challenges.
To position our students for success, our 1:1 tutoring plays an integral part of our model. If you are interested in becoming a tutor, apply below, or email us at volunteer@horizons-for-youth.org to learn more!
Our Associate Board supports our mission by growing our volunteer base, raising funds, and bringing brand awareness to the organization.
We are actively recruiting dynamic young professionals to help us raise awareness of Horizons for Youth. If you are interested in joining the Associate Board, apply below, or email us at
